چکیده

The intentional design of rare earth doped luminescent architecture exhibits unique optical properties and it can be considered as a promising potential probe for imaging applications. Calcium fluoride (CaF 2 ) nanoparticles with optimum concentration Nd 3+ Yb sensitizer activator, respectively, were synthesized by wet precipitation method characterized x-ray diffraction (XRD) photoluminescence. In spite the fact that energy transfer takes place from to , luminescence intensity was found weak due lattice defects generated doping trivalent cations (Nd divalent host (Ca 2+ ). These defect centres tailored via charge compensation approach co-doping Na + ion optimizing its heat treatment duration. CaF 5 mol% 3 4 after h exhibited significantly enhanced emission life time. ex vivo fluorescence experiment done at various thickness chicken breast tissue. maximum theoretical depth penetration NIR light calculated value is 14 mm. fabricated phosphor serve contrast agent deep tissue near infrared (NIR) imaging. • We have successfully prepared → system. Defects in :Nd /Yb are repaired co-doping. property particles been tuned process. Ex confirms feasibility

NIR dyes for bioimaging applications.

Fluorescent dyes based on small organic molecules that function in the near infrared (NIR) region are of great current interest in chemical biology. They allow for imaging with minimal autofluorescence from biological samples, reduced light scattering, and high tissue penetration. Herein, examples of ongoing NIR fluorophore design strategies as well as their properties and anticipated applicati...

Transition‐Metal‐Doped NIR‐Emitting Silicon Nanocrystals

Impurity-doping in nanocrystals significantly affects their electronic properties and diversifies their applications. Herein, we report the synthesis of transition metal (Mn, Ni, Co, Cu)-doped oleophilic silicon nanocrystals (SiNCs) through hydrolysis/polymerization of triethoxysilane with acidic aqueous metal salt solutions, followed by thermal disproportionation of the resulting gel into a do...
